مارکسیست‌های ایران و کانادا بستن سفارت ایران توسط دولت کانادا را محکوم می‌کنند

امروز، روز جمعه ۷ سپتامبر ۲۰۱۲، ۱۷ شهریور ۱۳۹۱، دولت محافظه‌کار کانادا اعلام کرد کانادا سفارت خود در ایران را تعطیل می‌کند و دیپلمات‌های ایران در کانادا را اخراج کرد. مارکسیست‌های ایران و کانادا با انتشار این بیانیه‌ی مشترک این آخرین حرکت خصمانه توسط دولت کانادا را محکوم می‌کنند.

این آخرین عملِ کانادا، که بسیاری ناظرین به درستی نام «عجیب و غریب» (Bizarre) به آن داده‌اند، در پی سابقه‌ی رفتار تهاجمی و خصمانه نسبت به ایران می‌آید. اکنون روشن است که هیچ دولت دیگری در سراسر جهان، شاید به استثنای دولت کنونی اسرائیل، به اندازه دولت محافظه‌کار استفن هارپر در کانادا دست به تحریم و تهاجم علیه ایران نزده.

دولت هارپر ایران را «بزرگ‌ترین تهدید برای امنیت جهان» خوانده است، تحریم‌های اقتصادی که به مردم عادی ایران ضربه می‌زنند افزایش داده و در میان کشورهای امپریالیستی، قلدرمابانه‌ترین موضع را نسبت به ایران داشته است.

این آخرین عمل، قطع تمامی روابط دیپلماتیک با ایران، به قدری افراطی و «عجیب و غریب» است که بسیاری را، حتی در میان ناظرین بورژوازی، در بهت فروبرده است. برای مقایسه به این نکته دقت کنید که از آغاز بحران هسته‌ای ایران تا بحال هیچ کشور غربی دیگر دست به قطع تمامی روابط دیپلماتیک و بستن سفارت‌خانه‌ها نزده است. این عمل تداوم رفتار امپریالیستی و خصمانه‌ی کانادا نسبت به ایران و قدمی در راه تحریم‌ها و جنگ‌طلبی است.

ما، مارکسیست‌های کانادا و ایران، این عمل را از زاویه‌ی کارگران و زحمتکشان هر دو کشورمان محکوم می‌کنیم.

شکی نیست که دیکتاتوری حاکم بر ایران دوستِ توده‌های ایران یا هیچ جای دیگری نیست. ما برای سرنگونی انقلابی این حکومت مبارزه می‌کنیم. جنبش همبستگی در خارج از ایران به عنوان بخشی از این مبارزه گاه به سفارت‌خانه‌های این رژیم ارتجاعی حمله کرده. ما از این عمل نیز دفاع می‌کنیم. اما مهم این است که چه کسی این کار را می‌کند و چه عواقبی خواهد داشت. اگر سفارت‌خانه‌های رژیم ایران در نتیجه‌ی اعمال جنبش همبستگی با توده‌های ایران تعطیل می‌شد این به مشروعیت‌زدایی بیشتر از رژیم و قدرت بخشیدن به جنبش انقلابی کمک می‌کرد.

اما وقتی دولتی امپریالیستی مثل دولت هارپر دست به چنین اعمالی می‌زند، مردم به درستی این را تهاجمی علیه ایران و قدم دیگری در راه تحریم‌ها و جنگ‌طلبی می‌بینند. این به جای قدرت بخشیدن به جنبش به خود رژیم قدرت می‌بخشد که اکنون قیافه‌ی «قربانی» به خود می‌گیرد. این عمل در ضمن به ده‌ها هزار مردم عادی ایرانی که در کانادا زندگی می‌کنند، و اکثرا مخالف رژیم هستند، ضربه می‌زند.

از این رو، ما این عمل را محکوم می‌کنیم و دولت راست‌گرای کانادا را بخاطر رفتار خصمانه‌اش نسبت به ایران تقبیح می‌کنیم. این وظیفه‌ی زحمتکشان کانادا، آمریکا، اسرائيل و سایر کشورها است تا علیه دولت‌های خود بخاطر سیاست جنگ‌طلبانه‌اش بجنگند و تهدید جنگ علیه ایران را متوقف کنند. این در ضمن وظیفه‌ی زحمتکشان ایران است تا به مبارزه‌ی خود برای سرنگونی رژیم «خودشان» ادامه دهند.

در چند ماه گذشته ما شاهد پا گرفتن جنبشی مستقل علیه جنگ در کشورهای مختلف بوده‌ایم، از جمله در اسرائیل که نقطه آغاز بزرگ‌ترین نمونه از تلاش‌های اینچنینی بوده است. به باور ما گرایش پاسیفیستی که در حال حاضر بر این جنبش‌ها حاکم است برای توقف جنگ کافی نیست اما نفس این اعمال قدم‌هایی در جهت درست هستند. اما اعمال افراطی و نمایشی اینچنینی از سوی دولت کانادا قصد دارند چنین جنبش مستقلی را از ریل خارج کنند چرا که این جنبش تهدیدی برای منافع دولت‌های سرمایه‌داری هم در کانادا و هم در ایران است.

Marxists of Iran and Canada condemn shutting down of Iranian embassy by Canada’s government

Today, Friday, September 7th 2012, Canada’s conservative government announced that Canada has closed its embassy in Iran and expelled Iranian diplomats in Canada. Marxists of Iran and Canada are issuing this joint statement to condemn this latest round of aggression by the Canadian government.

This latest act of Canada, rightly described as ‘bizarre’ by many commentators, comes after a recent history of aggressive behavior toward Iran. It can be safely stated that no other government on the face of earth, with the possible exception of current Israeli government, has fanned the flames of sanctions and aggressions against Iran as much as Canada’s conservative government of Stephen Harper.

Harper government has called Iran the ‘largest threat to world’s security’, has stepped up economic sanctions that hurt every-day Iranians and has been the most ‘hawkish’ of imperialist countries in its stances against Iran.

This latest action, severing all diplomatic ties with Iran, is so extreme and ‘bizarre’ that has left in shock, even many of the establishment commentators. Just to put this in perspective, since the beginning of Iran’s nuclear crisis, no other Western country has took the step of severing all diplomatic ties and closing down embassies. This action is a continuation of Canada’s imperialist and aggressive behavior toward Iran and a step on the path of sanctions and warmongering.

We, Marxists of Canada and Iran, condemn this action from the standpoint of the working people of both of our countries.

There is no doubt that the dictatorship ruling over Iran is no friend of masses in Iran or anywhere. We fight for its revolutionary overthrow. As part of this fight, the solidarity movement abroad has from time to time attacked the embassies of the reactionary regime, an act supported by us. But, it is important who does this and what repercussions will it have. If the embassies of Iranian regime were closed down as a result of actions of the solidarity movement with the Iranian masses, that would help further delegitimize the regime and embolden the revolutionary movement.

But when an imperialist government like that of Harper takes such actions, it will be rightly seen as an aggression against Iran and a further step on the path of sanctions and warmongering. It will not embolden the movement but the regime itself which can act as a ‘victim.’ It will hurt tens of thousands of ordinary Iranians living in Canada, mostly opposed to the regime.

Therefore, we condemn this action and denounce Canada’s right-wing government for its aggressive behavior toward Iran. It is the job of working people of Canada, US, Israel and other countries to fight against their own government for their warmongering policy and stop the threat of war on Iran. It is also the job of working people of Iran to continue their fight for overthrow of their ‘own’ regime.

We’ve already seen an independent movement against war on Iran to flourish in many countries, including Israel which was the starting point of one of the largest of such recent attempts. While we believe the pacifist tendency that currently rules over these movements is not sufficient to stop the war, these actions are steps in the right direction. Such grandstanding extreme acts on part of Canada’s government are intended to cut through such an independent movement which is a threat to the interest of capitalist governments in both Canada and Iran.
